For six long months I have been drooling over a new device that is slated to make it’s home in my pocket this Saturday.

The Palm Pre.

I would wager that 95% of those reading this right now just said to themselves, “The Palm what?”

But that is beside the point. Whether there are millions, thousands or hundreds who have been patiently waiting it out with me, our wait meets its conclusion this weekend. So, you may be asking, what is this thing you have been waiting so diligently for?

Simply put, a new take on the iPhone. A portable, hand-held computer. A multi-tasking, text messaging, full HTML web browsing, synergy-driven, email pushing, beautiful heap of a phone! A “big boy toy.” A ridiculously fun gadget. A technological marvel.

It’s all I want for Christmas.
